Assistant Superintendent

July 1, 2017

Dear parents and citizens of Nashua,

My name is Garth McKinney and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Superintendent for Elementary. I want to thank the community, the Nashua Board of Education, and Dr. Mosley for selecting me for this position. I am excited to continue working in the Nashua School District after serving as the Assistant Principal at Main Dunstable Elementary School for the past two years.

In my new role, I look forward to leading the learning of our students and faculty. In partnering with administrators, curriculum specialists, and peer coaches, I led efforts to refine curriculum, provide professional development, and select instructional materials. We have a number of initiatives underway and some just beginning but both with the focus on continuing to improve student achievement.

I encourage you to visit the curriculum page of our district web site for more information. I look forward to sharing more information about the continual refinement process throughout the district K-12.

Thank you and I’m looking forward to next year. Happy summer.

Sincerely,
Garth J. McKinney, Ed.D.
