Human Resources is a Nashua Board of Education standing committee of three members and one alternate and meets at least once a month. The HR Committee's role is the oversight and policies of all personnel related matters as outlined in Policy BDEB. The current members of the committee can be found here.

In general, the HR Committee is focused on the hiring of employees and their professional development. The general governing policies in this area can be found in the Section G of the Board Policies. 

While union contract negotiations are negotiated by committees appointed by the Board President, many of the non-fiscal factors of these contracts impact areas related to the HR Committee.
