The District is hiring crossing guards. School crossing guards help students safely cross busy intersections on their way to and from school, and control traffic flow around schools in the morning and at the end of the school day.

 

Specifically crossing guards are needed in the following school communities:

East Hollis and Chase Street for Dr. Crisp 7:10-8 am; 2:35-3:05 pm
Elm Street in front of school 7:20-8 am; 2:40-3:15 pm
Almont and Blanchard for Fairgrounds 7:40-8:25 am; 2:45-3:15 pm

Please consider applying to be a crossing guard, immediate placement possible.  No formal education or experience required; background investigation is required. Salary is $15.59 per hour, with a work schedule approximately 1.5 hours per day and 7-10 hours a week that school is in session.
